Tip# 1 Crocs are hot. Girls dig guys who wear crocs. Tip# 2 More over umbrellas sport an afro. It will keep your head from getting wet it will also help preventing balding Tip# 3 Carry an umbrella big enough for 2 you’d never know when you might run into a damsel in distress Tip# 4 Don’t behave like our friend Khandewal and stand in the middle of the street in your business suit. Tip# 5 Ensure you are carrying Brylcreem styling gel at all times after all you don’t want to lose out on that set wet look. Tip# 6 So what if its raining you should still wear your sunglasses around. Tip# 7 You might want to try a belt. Since wet jeans weigh more than dry jeans and you don’t really want to flash your tighty-whities to everyone now do you? Tip# 8 This is the perfect season for velvet, the material literally repels waters…..plus all the Bollywood stars are wearing velvet.

Monsoon Trends For Men!
Mika's Big Day!
Mika turned another year older the other day and I guess he decided to celebrate low key with a few close acquaintances at Juhu’s Rock Bottom. There was no inappropriate kissing or Rakhi Sawant. The ‘pimpster’ Mika conducted himself like a true gentleman. ‘Krazy Kat’ Nandini Jumani was there(probably to make up for Rakhi’s absence), Hard Kaur was unrecognisable, for once she skipped on the wannabe hip-hop threads for an elegant gown. His other close friends included Neha and Sonu Kakkad(????) these girls have been showing up at a couple of events……don’t really know what they do or who they are. Shweta Pandit, Brinda Parekh, Jay Bhanushali, Aditya Narayan and Ronit Roy include some of the other close friends. To live up to the outrageous kiss last year was mighty impossible so I guess Mika decided to tell Shekar Suman that his party had a theme: ‘Pimps and Whores.’

Haal-E-Dil or Behaal-E-Dil?
Producer and star secretary Kumar Mangat is going to launch Amrita Phatak this June in the romantic popcorn flick Haal-E-Dil. This film also stars newbies Nakul Mehta and Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan Suman. Ajay Devgan and Kajol have guest appearances. The promos are out and judging by that, this film is going to suck. It’s got all the elements of a pukefest- Horrible acting, horrible actors and super garish costumes ! But now, look at the actress. Is she overweight or what!? An actress has to have a USP which she emphasizes on. In this case, this girl has nothing. As for the guys, the lesser said the better. A couple of cardboard cutouts could act better than them! I’m definitely gonna give this one a miss!
Monsoon Trends for Women
Well, now that the monsoons are here follow these Desimad tips to ensure you don’t look washed out this season and don’t wind up walking around with weighed down jeans. Tip#1 Girls, the shorter the pants the better! Tip#2 This is the season for harem pants .Take this tip from our fav item girl Hazel. Tip#3 balloon dresses like the one our friend Shifa Shekhar is sporting is perfect for the rains. Notice how it hugs her thighs?? No chance of her pulling a Marilyn Monroe. Tip#4 Don’t wear too much make up. It literally runs off your face in the rains. Tip#5 Take a hint from our friend Divya Palat here. Wear shit shoes to work and then change into your Jimmy Choos. Tip#6 Make a yoga DVD. How hard could it be??? Shilpa Shetty did it ! Tip#7 Your cellphone which is always attached to your ear…well it might not be water resistant. It’s time to laminate it or cover it with cling wrap. Tip#8 Forget the old version of the saree- Try the Gladrags version.

Phoonk - First Look
Ram Gopal Varma is one tireless fellow. He comes up with a masterpiece like Sarkar Raj and before the rave reviews come in, he starts work on his next few projects.
Ramu is now working on a movie with Ekta Kapoor ( who he has a crush on… teeheehee), scripting out Sarkar 3 and working on his next big scare flick- Phoonk.
Coming Soon from the dungeons of the RGV camp, Phoonk is yet another dark shot of horror. After the success of Bhoot in 2003, RGV went on making films like Darna Mana Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai , etc. which just became an embarrassment to his presence in the horror genre.Ramu is pretty sure, that this time, Phoonk will “seep into you and plagues your entire belief system” which normally happens when one sits to watch a film by RGV productions! LOL !
But then again, it’s really great that filmmakers like him try to work out of the box and not make the dime-a-dozen formula films like the Chopras or the Johars. Some of his stuff is pukeworthy-like Aag or James, but then he also has cult films like Satya, Shiva and Rangeela in his kitty. Lets see how this gamble pays- Phoonk is ready to release in August.
I just saw the trailer for Phoonk and am pretty bloody excited! It has all the typical RGV elements- bizarre camera work, a hard-hitting background score, edge of the seat spooks, a build up of suspense and all that jazz….
Chpra...Sherlyn Chopra
What the hell?! I wonder if she’s actually dumb or she’s acting stupid to fit into the entire ‘Dumb Blonde’ image.
Anyway, this desi Britney Spears of ours is coming out with a new album, imaginatively titled; ‘Dard-e-Sherlyn’. Apparently she’s even penned the lyrics for some of the songs.Woah man! That’s unexpected from a bimbette.
Hmmm… we have to wait and watch to see how good (or how bad!) the album is…

Sarkar Raj Review: Flop Show
t is one of the most awaited movies of this year…and it’s finally here.
Sarkar Raj hits the theatres today and you better book your tickets ‘coz this one’s a must watch!
Ram Gopal Verma has washed all the sins he commited in making RGV ki Aag ,Sarkar Raj is at par with RGV previous masterpieces Satya and Shiva. Maybe he should stick to making movies which start with an ‘S’…hehehehe.
What works in favour of the movie is the super tight script, brilliant acting and great cinematography. As the plot thickens , Ramu leaves you on the edge of your seat. Amar Mohile’s background score is topnotch. The by-now-famous ‘Govinda’ chant in the background only enhances the impact of the movie.
The movie revolves around the Nagre family- The relationship between the patriach, Subash Nagre(Amitabh Bachchan) and his heir Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan). Aiswarya Rai Bachchan plays Anita Rajan, the CEO of Sheppard Power Plant. The story takes a lot of inspiration from real life incidents such as the Enron issue.
In a Nutshell: Watchu waiting for…..go watch !!!
Triumph Fashion Show-DROOLFEST !!!
I must be the luckiest guy in the world…. Why?? ‘Coz I got to see a whole bevvy of beauties clad only in their underwear!!! Yeah baby! I’m talking ’bout the Triumph fashion show at the F Bar in Delhi…Man what a drool fest that was. But on a more serious and less pervy note- It was a good show…simple classic designs, well choreographed, great use of colours… Well you really don’t care do you…. GO AHEAD ….OGLE!
Rodies in Love
Yes its true! Roadies 5.0 winner Ashutosh is in love with Sonel, the dumb model from Delhi. In one of the episodes of Roadies this year, Sonel was dared to propose to Ashu just for fun. It looks like the village boy took it seriously and actually fell head over heels in lurrve with this long haired lady who didn’t even know the name of the President of India!
If you guys watched the show, there were clear sparks flying when both of them were around each other and Ashu definitely got lucky with Sonel’s magical presence. It seems that the couple cannot get enough of each other ever since the show ended and the reason Ashu didn’t give a Karizma to her was because he wanted her to ride behind him (*wink wink*).
From sources it seems that he has already made plans to tell his parents about their growing romance and will get married to Sonel once he becomes an actor in Bollywood. Just a thought- What if he does become an actor? Who the hell will understand a word of what he speaks?! And his atrocious dancing can make even Sunny Deol feel like Michael Jackson! Sonel toh is anyway thoda neurotic (remember the lion growling act at the auditions?)
Looks like they’re a match made in…Roadies
