Tashan mein... so jaa!

The film tells the story of call center executive Jimmy Cliff (Saif Ali Khan), gangster Bachchan Pande (Akshay Kumar), mob boss Bhaiyyaji (Anil Kapoor) and evil babe Pooja (Kareena Kapoor).

When I say story I mean it in a very very vague way... the storyline is thinner than Kareena's waistline!!!

The first and second half of the movie seem to have no goddamn connection with each other whatsoever. The promos may perhaps lure you and make you wanna go watch the film but once you're at the theatre, you might just wanna puke. SaifMore... looks like a cardboard cutout in his minuscule role; Anil Kapoor's dialogues are the crappiest ever cause no-one can understand a word he says (What a waste!) “Lots happy” and “Goods peoples must meet mads peoples” are the dialogue writer's idea of 'coolness'. It sounds funny but it really f*&%in' ain't! ; Kareena seems to pull the crowd in with her new 'size zero' figure and the famous bikini scene.

Akshay Kumar is the saving grace in the acting department. Lately he seems to get his moves right in all his movies. In fact Akshay is the only one in this movie who is funny... INTENTIONALLY!

The Style ('Tashan'?) and Music which is by the awesome duo Vishal & Shekhar is killer! Songs like Dil Dance Maare and Dil Haara are bound to echo in your head for some time; and if they don't, they'll definitely grow on you.

IN A NUTSHELL: Fuck the movie. Get the soundtrack and maybe even a poster of Kareena in her Bikini clad avatar. ;-)
