Hijack: First look

People haven’t gotten over the mental torture that was Mission Istaanbul and they already have another terrorist drama coming their way. Debutante director Kunal Shivdasani cooks up a thriller with Hijack.

Frankly the movie looks like a rip-off of multiple Hollywood flicks. The story goes something like this: Vikram Madhav (Shiney Ahuja), an ex-pilot and engineer at Chandigarh airport, must single-handedly save the day when the plane which his daughter is in gets hijacked by militants. Helping him save the day is Saira (Esha Deol), an air-hostess.

The story rings a bell doesn’t it?

It’s pretty certain that names like Shiney or Esha aren’t going to be drawing in the crowds at the box-office. Child actor Ishita is probably the unique thing about this movie. So for the movie’s sake lets hope the director has a tight story in place…

If not, it’s gonna be another one bites the dust!
