Salman Writes Back!!

Salman Writes Back!!Salman Khan has written his very own script. His next movie, Veer is a period film that he penned in between making passive-aggressive calls to Abhishek Bachchanand collecting signatures for the removal of Shah Rukh Khan from the city. At least if it was a contemporary film, we’d know that it couldn’t be all that bad (relatively speaking of course). But it’s these experimental flicks which either go backward or forward in time that really stink up the theatre. As things are poised at the moment, that’s exactly what this one promises to be.

The movie is set in 1880. And so, according to Sallu, everything used in the movie should belong to that time. This is why it took 13 days to record a single track! Sallu asked the music directors Sajid-Wajid to hire musicians from all over India instead of using electronics to mimic the sounds. Isn’t that nice; the Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya star is suddenly worried about authenticity! I’ve seen more authenticity backstage on the sets of TNA Wrestling than I’ve see in this joker’s movies.

So don’t waste your time watching this one. It’s destined to join the list of other disasters like Love Story 2050 andVikram Bhatt’s ridiculous attempt to make a horror flick, 1920. Whatever the outcome, lets just hope Salman doesn’t express his joy or angst on canvas.
