Shilpa And Kat Get Musical

After Arjun Rampal created history with his sensational air-guitar pieces in Rock On!!, it’s time for the Bollywood women to give pretending to play an instrument a shot.

Shilpa Shetty had to learn to play the violin for her next movie, The Man, but ended up just learning how to hold it. This she claims, makes sure she doesn’t look stupid while appearing to play it. As optimistic as all of this is, who’s going to fix that Christmas Cake your face turns into every time you have to air-violin? And who’s going to stop the needless shaking, the intense eyes closed routine and of course the frantic moving of the fingers throughout? You’re playing an instrument, not going all the way with your high-school lover.

In other news, Subhash Ghai has pulled off yet another casting miracle by choosing Katrina Kaif to play a classical musician in his next film. She’s joined Shilpa on the high road by just learning the basics of holding and strumming her instrument and letting the music directors organize the rest. She does claim to have a sense of rhythm though. I’m pretty sure Cher and Britney claimed similar things too..
