Imraan’s Big Premiere

No expense was spared in the bringing of ‘Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na’ to the big screen.’ Aamir Jaan’ made sure that all the Who’s-who of tinsel-town were invited to the premiere of the movie which was held at PVR Cinemas, Goregaon.

Talk about arriving with a bang! Sources say that this movies made and distributed pretty much the same amount of print as Aamir’s directorial debut ‘Taare Zameen Par’.
To list out some of the celebs that made an appearence to support Imran were his ex wife Reena,Aamir khans kids,Shenaz Tresuryawala, Darsheel Safary,Shamita Shetty,Vikram Bhatt,Mansi Joshi Roy, Rohit Roy,Rakhi Sawant, Kunal Khemu,Yash Chopra,Amitabh Bachchan,Ritesh Deshmukh, A.R Rahman, Vidya Balan, Priya Dutt and Owen Rancon, Juhi Chawla, Avantika (Imraan’s big boobed girlfriend) and the list goes on!!!!!!!!

Now, I know everyone’s talking about ” Aamir’s just doing this for his nephew” and ” This was more of an emotional premiere than the launch of a movie” but who can blame him? Hell, if my nephew was a debutant and I was big in the film industry I would probably do the same thing! It just shows that the man has a heart. Instead of making it look like a cardinal sin, we should actually be proud of him for putting so much on the line for his nephew. I’m sure his nephew has potential or else he wouldn’t be blowing this so big just to get Imraan jeered at. Besides, I know that no film that Aamir has done or helped make has ever let me down and I can safely say that I trust him to churn up something good in this movie too.

Oh, and, Aamir- Man Up! Take responsibilty for what you’re doing for your nephew and be proud of it! After all, who wouldn’t want an uncle who’ll put you in the Dictionary under ‘Bollywood Heroes’ !

A little birdy told me that Prateek Bubbar’s done a fabulous job for his first movie. Hats off to him!
