Shilpa Shetty-The man

 Shilpa Shetty-The man
The last time we saw a violin in a Bollywood movie was when Celina Jaitley emerged from the water in a blue-bikini pretending to play one in what will go down as one of the most pointless pieces of story-telling since the birth of Christ. But not far behind, you’ll see Shilpa Shetty playing the fiddle for Sunny Deol’s The Man. In the film, she plays herself(which gives you good idea about the rest of it), but with just one difference - her character is a violin expert. After every shoot, Shilpa practices playing for two hours with her instructor from Goa, Sandeep.

Unfortunately, all the acting coaches took part in a mass suicide bid when approached for help. Everything’s not lost though; the movie’s called The Man, all you need is something to shove down your pants and a teeth clenched frown of fake angst for those unforgettable moments when the villian plays the ‘insult family or nation’ card. Throw in a girl and a violin and you’ve got a cult classic, another three hour bash-em-up proving that Sunny still hasn’t grown into his balls.
