Reeth the newest Bengali Bombshell on the block!!

More over Bipasha Basu and all the other Sen’s Bengali actress Reeth is all set for her Bollywood debut. All she had to do was drop off her photos at director Soorya’s office to bag the role. This isn’t really surprising; I’m not sure what kind of audition you’d hold for a movie called Aaja Gunaah Kar Le. It sounds more like something that’s escaped from the Ramsay Brothers’ basement than a legitimate movie.

In the film, Reeth plays a lively, excuberant character, a role which she claims is very close to her own personality. Although her grandfather was an “ace director in bengali films”, she never thought she’d get into acting professionally. But when something like Aaja Gunaah Kar Le falls into your lap, how can you refuse? Apart from acting, Reeth enjoys dancing(she’s learnt a number of dance forms including samba and kathak) and reading. From the looks of things, she’d be well advised to stock up on good books and pick up a Dance Dance Revolution arcade game -Soorya’s dreadful vision may not deliver the goods. It’s a good thing that she has two big banner south indian films in the wings.
