Ram Ram

 Ram Ram
Ram Gopal Verma is set to release his latest Crime/Underworld/Terrorism flick, Contract. After Satya, Company, Sarkar and Sarkar Raj, I’d hoped he’d reached a dead end, but no, Ramu’s got another story of men, money, betrayal and pole-dancing newcomers to tell.

The plot revolves around terrorist activity in the country; something which he claims can be ignored but won’t ignore you. At least he has first hand knowledge of such events; his movies have been terrorizing audiences for years. But still, this is not as bad as it could have been.

I remember a time when Ramu wanted to release a new movie every Friday!! This was of course part of his big plans for the RGV Film Factory. Can you imagine what that would be like? Every pointless ‘I’m going to get revenge whether the plot allows me to or not’ movie hitting the theatres week after week? The very idea of it makes you want to be gassed by the Riot Police and taken to a place where Ramu’s creative ventures never reach you. Prison. Of course, you’ve got even bigger problems there. Madhur Bhandarkar.
