Akki Makes His Presence Felt

Is the world ready for Nikhil Advani’s hidden dragon? Well, ready or not, it’s coming to theatres near you very soon. In his next movie, Chandni Chowk to China, he will be flexing his skinny action arm behind the camera and working with none other than flavour of the month, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone.

Apparently, Akki’s presence on the sets has been inspiring Deepika to do her own stunts! She’s not the only one feeling his influence. Akshay also sat Nikhil down and made him watch a truckload of action films he has stashed behind his Playboy and X-Box 360 memorabilia at home. Nikhil claims that it brought out his ‘hidden dragon’. This, from the guy that made Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-E-Ishq. The only thing I’d expect him to have hidden is a gigolo in his bedroom closet.
But like it or not, this Chowpatty bhel-puri of an action flick is coming to you very soon and given Akshay Kumar’s recent form, will be a hit. It all seems to be going for Akki at the moment. No wonder Sallu’s worried about him and Katrina being such a hit jodi!!
