Don’t look now, but Sallu’s painting again. This time, he’s painted a portrait of the late Raj Kapoor and gifted it to Ranbir Kapoor. Salman has always been a big fan of Raj Kapoor and thought that it would be a fitting gift to give someone who has shown his support to Camp Sallu after the SRK spat. Ranbir and Deepika were guests on Dus Ka Dum a few days ago and this is when Sallu decided to present it to him. Ranbir had no option but to be grateful and appear deeply moved. He wasn’t the first to see it though. Sallu went to Raj Kapoor’s wife Krishna Kapoor to get it approved before he gifted it. As frightening as Sallu becoming a full-time artist is, it’s good to see that he’s keeping himself (or some nameless J. J. school of Art graduate) occupied in his basement. The whole Katrina Kaif fiasco must have taken its toll on the shirtless wonder from Indore, but it looks like he’s getting a move on. I guess it’s the artist in him that keeps him afloat. Who wouldn’t be satisfied with their life when they know that they’re part of such creative summits as Dus Ka Dum and God Tussi Great Ho?
