‘Singh is NOT our king’!!

That’s what the Sikh community seems to be saying lately!!

It seems the most hotly awaited film this year is in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, on the verge of its release. I mean did it really take so long for everybody to realize that the movie may evoke negative sentiments??

Uncle Akki, it seems, has gone crazy apologizing for agreeing to be a part of the film, and has been reduced to begging for its release!! Well, it’s time for the public to wake up and realize that it’s only a movie, and yes ladies and gentlemen the primary purpose of a film is to entertain audiences which is exactly what ‘Singh is Kinng‘ will do… given half a chance.

Or maybe it’s more entertaining for the public to watch our zoo of a parliament these days where our dear Prime Minister, who is also a Singh, was deprived the right to speak even one word on the podium due to the outburst following the trust vote. Maybe everybody was too busy rejoicing due to the PM’s win to notice the title song from the movie being played at least a hundred times over to emphasize his victory!!

Well, it looks like the movie might just miss it’s Delhi release this Friday, due to all the controversies surrounding it, which makes us thank our lucky stars in Mumbai that the most eagerly awaited film of the year will be running in a local theatre near us!! And we also recommend the people of the capital to come down to aamchi Mumbai, to watch the film and not miss out on some great entertainment!! Then maybe ‘Singh will truly be kinng’….as it deserves to be… yeah right!
