Dhawan and only

It’s that time of year again folks. David Dhawan has woken up from his six month slumber and is now working on a new movie called Hook Ya Crook. The on-screen action promises to be painfully predictable, but it’s the off-screen action that seems to be taking centre stage. And for good reason too. It stars none other than Bipasha’s forbidden couple, John Abraham and Vidya Balan.

Lets just back it up a few weeks. Didn’t Bips and Sania Mirza issue a clear warning about this? John and Shahid were asked to stay away from fashion goddess and table top-dancer extraordinaire, Vidya Balan. Looks like one of them has finally dug out the testosterone to break the rules and stand up for his rights. At least that’s what it looks like right now. It might well be phase one of Bipasha’s elaborate scheme to eliminate all female competition.

Why Vidya Balan anyway? Of all the actresses in the industry, these two witches of Eastwick have chosen the tamest one. How insecure can you possibly be? I guess there’s no real answer to that. Some other actress (or actor for that matter; remember Saif following Kareena around) will come along and go one up soon enough. I guess it’s just that time of year…
