What comes to mind when those words are uttered??? Shakira…….right?? After she made this jiggle-show our favourite dance yet (besides stripteases of course), belly dancing has finally made it’s way to Bollywood.
proper dance, considering her poor technique and overtly sexual moves. Not that I’m an expert or anything but I have watched Sharkira’s video’s over a 100 times each.
The makers of Khushboo the essence of love felt that belly dancers were intergral to their story too. Hence the gharishly clad firang attempted belly dancing in the car park…..ugh!
And finally just for pure entertainment at Vie Lounge, a group of malnourished Russian dancers with no belly what so ever attempted to belly dance. What I don’t get is, when did this beautiful Arabic dance form get so popularized that now every firang right from Turkey to Russia seems eager to satisfy this Bollywood fixation.
