Freud once said that the most influential thing in life is a father figure. Nowhere does it hold true more than in our very own Bollywood. Yup, Bollywood should be renamed ‘The Land of the Rising Son’ ‘coz every Bolly-daddy is busy trying to launch his offspring in the industry no matter how bad he or she is!
So on this Father’s day, we present to you the BOLLY-DADDY Awards.

1) The Award for “ Having the prettiest offspring” goes to… KAMAL HASSAN.
Just look at that cute li’l daughter of his! And btw, Shruti will soon be making her film debut. More on that later perhaps!




2) The Award for “ Having the most useless kid” goes to…MITHUN DA !
Mithun Chakraborty- the original disco dancer, the man who taught India how to shake booty like there’s no tomorrow . Can you belive that the monkey faced fat boy, Mimoh is this legend’s son? Poor Mithunda!




3) The Award “Father and Son duo acting together in the most number of films” goes to … AMITABH & ABHISHEK BACHCHAN.
This is one family that stays together. Lagta hai saala Fevicol ka jod hai! Bunty aur Babli, Sarkar, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Sarkar Raj, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom… looks like these two come in a package deal of some sort. Buy father- get son free!


4) The Award for “ Father and Son wearing the most garish costume` goes to… SHEKAR & ADHYAYAN SUMAN
Good Lord! Just look at the pictures. Enough said!





5) The Award for “Look alike Sons” goes to HARRY BAWEJA & RAKESH ROSHAN.
Harman looks like Hrithik, walks like Hrithik, talks like Hrithik and even dances like Hrithik! So much so that I suspect they have the same daddy. Hmm….that’s a controversy.:P
