Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na - Preview

When do you know, its love? Of course, after watching the movie. Beware this blog contains spoilers but do you really care. Come July 4th and Abbas Tyrewalla’s first film ever as director and Mansoor Khan’s first film in 9 years “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” will release.

Okay, a lot of people’s asses are on line for the film to do well. Aamir Khan’s first film as producer where he wont act, his nephew Imran Khan’s first film, Genelia D’souza’s comeback film as I’ve already mentioned about Abbas Tyrewalla and Mansoor Khan.

This teenage comic caper has all the ingredients for a superhit formula. Comedy, Romance, Masti and rona dhona. A total timepass flick for you and your friends.

The story is about Rats (Imran) and Meow (Genelia). Rats is a phattu Rajput and Meow is a violent cat who will kill you if you get on her wrong side. Only Rats can control Meow. The two share a love hate relationship. Along with them there are four friends Rotlu, Jiggy, Bombs and Shaleen who make up their gang.

To make this interesting, Rotlu has the hots for Meow (btw, her name is Aditi, hence the song) and Bombs has the hots for Rats (again, his name is Jai) and Jiggy applies golden mascara to his hair (how does it matter).

Everyone knows Aditi and Jai are perfect for each other in a very different way though, except them.

So when do they actually realize its love?

The film is in a flashback mode where Rotlu, Jiggy, Bombs and Shaleen are telling Jai’s and Aditi’s story to Mala. The film also has a cameo by Manjari (Mumbai Salsa) as Megha.

The film will take you for a happy charming journey of love, relationships, friendship in that innocent stage of life.

Brilliant music my the maestro A.R.Rehman and with Aamir Khan giving full importance to this film, im sure it wont disappoint. The track ‘Aditi’ is already hitting the charts as No.1 and the other tracks have not disappointed as well. This film has surely got all the ingredients. Let’s see the final result…
