Bhansali picks Harman over Ranbir

Another episode of friend turned foes???Sanjay Leela Bhansali who had produced and directed Ranbir Kapoor’s debut movie Saawariya has given him a thumbs down.He recently announced his next venture Chenab Gandhi but on this occasion, he has signed bollywood new Hrithik look alike, Harman Baweja.Harman, who has to still show his capabilites in his debut Love Story 2050 which releases July 4th.

Bhansali has totally been impressed by Harman’s on screen magic and his screen presence.He picked Harman after watching his flawless acting in Love Story 2050.Some sources say that Bhansali initially approached Ranbir for the role but Ranbir could not fit it into his tight schedule.Bhansali has dismissed the rumour and said that Ranbir hasnt even been considered for the role as he didn’t suit the character.Harman was always his first and last choice.

On the other hand, Harman is overwhelmed to receive the call from Bhasali production’s house, “I couldn’t believe my luck,” said Harman who sounds quite excited to work along side with legendry Amitabh Bachchan and beautiful Vidya Balan. Vibhu Puri will direct the film. Harman also has Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s your Rashi with Priyanka Chopra and Victory with Amrita Rao under his sleeve.

Bhansali will have to do a better job this time around as he lost alot of credibility with the disaster called ‘Saawariya’ which didn’t even do remotely well.
