Khiladi No.1 Meets Rocky

Sajid Nadiawala’s up coming film Kambakkth Ishq is going to have Rambo himself in the movie. The movie which co-incidently also stars Akshay Kumar,Kareena Kapoor amongst others is about a body-double and stuntman in Hollywood and to make the movie seem more authentic they ‘had’ to rope in big Hollywood names like Sylvester Stallone.
Since when has Bollywood ever been about authenticity??? Even Madhur Bhandekar keeps harping on this ‘authentic’ term which is why an integral scene in his move ‘Fashion’ just had to be filmed in Paris during Fashion Week. Every bollywood movie I’ve ever scene has always been incredibly unrealstic. If 30 year olds can play college students( Dil Chata Hai also that Hrithik movie Lakshya) how could i forget Tashan…… have you ever seen a jet ski flip over and the driver is still sitting on it?? Bollywood can even defy gravity why suddenly this craze for authenticity??
The audience thrives on Rajnikanth’s daredevil feats……I mean seriously…splitting his last bullet with a blade and killing the last 2 bad guys. Don’t even get me started on all the dance seqences in the freakin’ snow in those skimpy outfits.
Basically Bollywood should stick to what they do best…give the adudience a tour of the world or in the case of Aamir, a Mumbai Darshan.
